Oregon & Washington Fishing Guide

I met up with Andy Carson at 3:45 am on Wednesday August 5Th 2009.

Even when i saw the van come in to the parking lot I still could not believe channel 12 fox was going fishing with me.

Today we were fishing on the Columbia river below Bonneville dam. I met my clients at 6:15 am.

I decided not too fish for shad today because shad fishing has been kinda slow and I had enough from the night before.

Columbia river sturgeon fishing, the wind was blowing in the gorge as usual.
We were fishing below Bonneville dam. I had 4 clients on my boat which have all been with me lots of times. We started the day shad fishing,it was kinda slow.

Columbia River in the Portland Oregon area for Shad and Sturgeon! fishing is stating to get good. We have been fishing on the Columbia river in the Columbia gorge!

We have been getting lots of shad. that is great for the sturgeon.

I have been fishing on the Columbia river for Sturgeon and shad.
Shad fishing has been OK the last few days not great just ok.

I look forward to the shad fishing picking up next week I think if we can get some sunny days on the river that will help.

Friday morning on the Columbia river, in the Columbia gorge I had 3 clients.There names were Dwane, his wife Debie and jim from Troutdale.

Dwane and Debie came all the way from the Tri-Cities. They have fished with me before in Tillamook bay and have had success.

Fishing for sturgeon on the Columbia river has been hot.
We are catching lot’s of shad witch is fun and great for bate!
Shad fishing and sturgeon fishing, will even get better threw June
Don’t forget Salmon fishing opens June 22, this is a great time to do half day sturgeon and half day salmon..

Columbia river sturgeon fishing is heating up. we are stating to catch some shad. so you no what that means plenty of big sturgeon.
I have benn fishing the shad rack for my shad.
Shad fishing will onley get beter the next few weeks.
Also salmon opens back up June 22. great time to do half day salmon and half day sturgeon.

One of the best areas to troll is near buoy 10,  which is at the mouth of the Columbia River as all the fish have to come past this to get upriver on the incoming tide.
I fish this in mid August.
