You’ve heard about it now, you’re ready to book a trip for Astoria Buoy 10 Salmon Fishing for the fall of 2024.

Buoy 10 Salmon fishing is just around the corner, August is the time. Actually, we will start our salmon trips middle of July in the Pacific Ocean, where there will be plenty of chinook salmon in coho salmon.

The Columbia River will open up August 1st for Chinook salmon and Coho salmon.

you will be allowed 2 salmon a day, but only one may be a chinook. All salmon in the Buoy 10 area must be fin clipped.

Oregon Department of Fish and wildlife and Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife are predicting another great run chinook salmon and coho salmon in 2024!

I like to troll for Salmon I like use 20 t0 24 oz of lead with a herring and a flasher and troll with the tides.

Chinook salmon l average 15 to 25 pounds, with coho averaging 6 to 15 pounds!

When fishing with Marvin’s guide service, we will be meeting, and launching our boat in Hammond OR. The Hammond Marina is only about 15 minutes away from Astoria.

One of my favorite things about the Hammond Marina is at the marina they offer processing get your fish vacuum packed and prepared to ship, at big game fishing!
