Oregon Spring Salmon fishing 2014

King Salmon on the Columbia River

King Salmon on the Columbia River

Well it’s time to start getting excited. I know it’s early, but, yes, there have been a couple spring Chinook salmon reported already.

It’s looking like it’s going to be a great year for salmon fishing on the Columbia and Willamette Rivers.

I will be fishing on the mouth of the Willamette River to downtown Portland, and on the Columbia River from the I-205 Bridge down to St. Helens.

Oregon and Washington Fish and Wildlife offices are both predicting a great run of spring salmon. You should book your days early so you have the best opportunity to put some fresh salmon in your freezer.

Nothing better than a fresh spring salmon! When you Fish with Marvin guide service you’ll be fishing from a covered and heated boat call us today to reserve.
