Buoy 10, often referred to as the Super Bowl of salmon fishing, kicks off on August 1 on the Columbia River estuary.
Once again, I will be utilizing the ports of Astoria, Oregon, and Hammond, Oregon, to target Chinook and Coho salmon in the lower river.
Experts in Oregon and Washington are forecasting a strong run of both Chinook and Coho this year, which is thrilling news considering the exceptional success of last year.
