Sturgeon fishing for keepers is year round fun, from the Willamette River, in the heart of Downtown Portland, Oregon or to the Scenic Columbia River Gorge. Locations vary according to weather and hot fishing action.
Keeper size sturgeon is anywhere between 38 to 54 inches long.
If you want to have a thrill of a lifetime try fishing for what we call “hog” or “dinosaur” sturgeon!!
These sturgeon can be up to 12 feet long or upwards of 700 pounds.!
We fish for these monster sturgeon in the Columbia River Gorge. The season starts May and goes through September.
