Do you remember how good salmon fishing was last August and September?

Columbia River Salmon

Columbia River Salmon

If not, salmon fishing was off the hook. It was totally awesome. With Forecasters saying this year will be just as good if not better, it has me looking forward to a great season of chasing King and Coho Salmon.

Marvin”s Guide Service will start fishing for fall king salmon in mid-July in the Pacific Ocean out of Astoria, Oregon. Then as the salmon move into the Columbia River, which will open up August 1 for salmon fishing, we will start fishing from Buoy 10 at the mouth of the Columbia River all the way up to the Astoria Megler Bridge. We launch our boat from the Port of Hammond Oregon.

I will continue to follow the salmon up the river and, by early part of September, I will be fishing right around the I-205 bridge on the Columbia River up to Bonneville dam.
So, if you’re looking to fill your freezer was some salmon give us a call and I will be happy to hook you up.
