Columbia River Sturgeon Fishing 4 People

Today i had 4 people on the Columbia river sturgeon fishing.3 Of these people drove all the way from Utah,The other man came from Estacada.
We met at the Columbia river boat ramp at 6:30 am. We headed down the columbia up into the Willamette river.

The most popular size on the Columbia river are K14.k15 and k16.
In recent years luhr jensen has added the new kwikfish x-treme 13x and 16x
witch are available in lighted versions.
I like to wrap my lure with a sardine. Or even sand shrimp.
You can troll with this or just let it sit on the bottom with a lead.

Group Of Buddies Sturgeon Fishing Sunday

Sturgeon fishing is only catch and release on sunday, although you are aloud to keep them thursday through saturday.I had 3 guys that wanted to do catch and release today.
We fished on the Willamette river,Today was kind of cool and wet.But it was nice with the top and the heater on.We had a pretty good day of fishing.
