Update June 2023

Oregon salmon season 2023 is getting under way on the Columbia River.

Spring chinook salmon is very popular in Oregon and Washington. Columbia river spring salmon is by far the best eating fish the Columbia River has to offer.
Fish mangers are predicting a return of total Columbia River spring Chinook return is expected to come in at 315,000 salmon.
With returns like this it has me and anglers very excited to fish the Columbia River.

Marvin’s Guide Service will start fishing the Columbia River for salmon March 15th. With salmon fishing in the Portland Oregon area just a few miles from the Portland
airport.

Marvin will continue to fish the Columbia River intel Aprill 7th, then he will shift into the Willamette River.

Fishing Spring salmon on the Willamette River will continue through June, and with the forecast looking good I’m very excited to the season.

There is something very special about catching a salmon right in front of downtown Portland, Oregon.

Get your days booked soon with Marvin as his schedule will fill up fast. Like always when you fish with Marvin you will be in the comfort of a 29-foot covered and heated boat.

The Columbia River is set to reopen for salmon on June 16th. You may harvest 1 clipped salmon per day.

Marvin has been a licensed Oregon fishing guide for 24 years now.

I’m looking forward to Oregon salmon season 2023.
