Salmon Fishing Columbia River opens Back up

Columbia River opens back up for Spring Salmon fishing tomorrow April 8th, it will be open lintel April 15th.
With the Columbia River running fast, I would suggest anchoring instead of trolling.

How I store monofilament line
I store my line either still in the package spool or on the reel. Always in a cool dark dry place. I try to avoid storing my line were it can be exposed to the sun.

We have some great Sturgeon fishing in the winter and lot’s of action, we also use light tackle to ad to the fishing excitement.
Columbia River Sturgeon Fishing 6-6-10

Columbia River Sturgeon fishing On June 6 2010.
On June 6th, I got to the boat ramp at 6 a.m. Man was it raining hard and I did not have my top on the boat.
Pat, Mike, Tom, and I left the dock and headed out on the river. I got the anchor set and threw the first line in the water. The Columbia River is high and fast, I was using 32 oz to stay on the bottom.
