Sturgeon must be between 38 inch and 54 inch to keep, you may keep one Sturgeon each, you may catch and release after you tag your Sturgeon. Good luck, and be safe out there.

Columbia River Sturgeon

First of all the Columbia river is known for the salmon runs, we have spring salmon, Summer Salmon, and the big run of fall Salmon.

Or maybe you just Like Steelhead fishing, well then the Columbia River gorge has some of the best steelhead fishing around, you can fish from a boat or off the bank.

There are plenty of Walleye to be found on the Columbia River, experts say the next record Walleye should come out of the lower Columbia River. I plan on catching that Walleye!

The Columbia river holds Sturgeon in it over 12 feet long and upwards of 900 pounds.
