Marvins fishing report June 16th 09

by Marvin on Jun.16, 2009, under General, Willamette

Sturgeon fishing in the Columbia river over the weekend was fair.
Shad fishing was slow even though you could get some for bate.
Salmon fishing on the Columbia river will open up June 22.

There are about a 1000 salmon a day going over the dam.
this is a good time to do a half day salmon and a half day of sturgeon fishing.

Buoy 10 salmon fishing

by Marvin on May.19, 2009, under Columbia River, Fishing Guide, General, Salmon, Sandy River, Sturgeon, Walleye

One of the best areas to troll is near buoy 10,  which is at the mouth of the Columbia River as all the fish have to come past this to get upriver on the incoming tide.
I fish this in mid August.
we are going to alowed 3 coho this year.  If you want good action for salmon then give me a call or come on down .
