  1. Is that the same price for Halibut? And do we get to keep the Halibut we catch?

    • No halibut is quite a bit more.

  2. Do you have any specials for multiple days.

    • We might go to work something out. How many people were you thinking about going? And when were you thinking about going?

  3. Visiting grandkids here in Olympia and was wondering about doing some walleye fishing next week. Is there anything avaliable?
We leave for home (South Dakota) on Feb 14th.

    • Sorry right now I am NOT doing any walleye fishing. We are doing sturgeon fishing and it is great action and lots of fish between 5 and 8 foot long. If you are interested in that please give me a call. We do fish from a covered in heated boat.

  4. I’m flying back to Albuquerque from Pprtland on Monday Feb 29th at 6pm, would I have time for a half day or full day? I don’t know how far it is to get to the airport but I’d leave straight from the dock to the airport. I’d like to try and knock steelhead off my bucket list.

    • Please give me a call when you can and I would love go over details with you.503-314-5087
      Thank you
      Marvin

  5. Are sturgeon carch and release if not where you going

    • Yes sturgeon is catch and release right now. Unless you go to the John Day pool. I have been doing my catch and release sturgeon on the Willamette the last few weeks.
It is hard to say how long the John Day pool will be open, not expect it to be open very long.

  6. Hello MARVIN
I am looking at being in Astoria some time mid Aug and was wondering about fishing for a couple days. there will be 3 fishing and would like to mix it up a bit Halibit, salmon and maybe Sturgeon. We would prefer to be our own group. Would this be possible and the price.

    Thanks
i look forward to hearing from you.

  7. My wife and I will be in Portland november 27-29 and I was interested in a fishing trip and wanted to know if you would be fishing and if so what you would be going for.

    • You bet we could hook you up in November. We would be doing sturgeon fishing. Sturgeon average 4 to 7 feet long and there is plenty of action. We do this from are covered and heated boat. However sturgeon is Catch and Release only but it is a lot of fun to fish. Feel free to call me with any questions. Thank you

  8. My husband is an experienced fly fisherman in Colorado, but has been having some trouble getting used to fishing in the PNW. He mentioned he would love a guided tour here to get a hang of things and I was thinking I would surprise him for his birthday in early March. Is that something that you think would be doable for someone with experience? (I would join too and I am inexperienced). Where are you fishing in March?

    • In March we have a couple things going on. Grant you this is not fly fishing this is fishing from a boat. One of them is salmon season is just getting underway on the Columbia River in March. The other thing is sturgeon. However surgeon is Catch and Release. Sturgeon range between 2 and 8 feet long. My boat is covered in heated. Please feel free to call me with any questions you have and I’ll be happy to answer them and get you hooked up
