The Sturgeon fishing is starting to heat up in the gorge on the Columbia river.
The water is warming up. There are even a few over size sturgeon being caught!
beware the Columbia river is fast.
start watching for shad. fresh shad should be a sure catch.
If you don’t have any shad then use smelt and sand shrimp.
